Greetings and welcome to the official website of the Kappa Upsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the 2025–2026 Basileus during this historic milestone, our 75th anniversary year of dedicated service to the West Palm Beach community.
For seventy-five years, the men of Kappa Upsilon have stood firm on the Cardinal Principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift, building upon a foundation established by our founders and sustained by the unyielding commitment of our Brotherhood. Our mission continues to echo the International Strategic Plan of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (2025–2030), which is to enhance the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities through service, leadership, and purposeful engagement.
Community uplift remains the heartbeat of our chapter. Through our signature Project Uplift Monthly Community Cleanup, we partner with volunteers—brothers, families, and youth—to keep West Palm Beach beautiful while instilling civic pride and collective responsibility. These monthly efforts remind us that true leadership begins with service and that our duty to uplift extends beyond the walls of our organization.
Equally vital is our investment in mentorship and leadership development. Our Lamplighter Program continues to shape the next generation of young men by fostering academic excellence, character development, and purpose-driven leadership. Through mentorship, we affirm our belief that every young man deserves guidance, opportunity, and an example of integrity in motion.
We also take pride in our ongoing partnership with the Kappa Upsilon Charitable Foundation, which serves as the philanthropic arm of our chapter—providing scholarships and supporting youth and community programs throughout Palm Beach County. This collaboration ensures that our work is both impactful and sustainable, creating pathways for growth and achievement in those we serve.
As we celebrate 75 years of Brotherhood, we remain steadfast in our commitment to fellowship, and the strengthening of bonds that unite us as men of Omega. Every brother plays a vital role in continuing our legacy of excellence and ensuring that Kappa Upsilon remains a shining example of what it means to live our motto: “Friendship is Essential to the Soul.”
